Celebrating Excellence: Felicitation Ceremony for the Top Achievers of 2023-2024
JAIN College has consistently provided top-quality education, producing outstanding students in their fields. The academic year 2023-2024 was no exception, with a group of students achieving excellent results in their PU board exams and bringing pride to the college. To honour these top-rank holders, we organised a felicitation ceremony graced by the presence of Smt. Anandiben Patel was the second governor of Uttar Pradesh after Sarojin Naidu and the first female chief minister of Gujarat. Along with the honourable Governor, the Founder and Chairman of JAIN Group of Institutions, Dr. Chenraj Roychand, the Principal of JAIN College, VV Puram, Dr. S.N. Natraj, and the Principal of JAIN College, Jayanagar, Dr. Nalini Satishchandra were present.
The event was addressed by Ms. Ritu, the Hindi faculty, followed by Smt. Anandiben Patel. She shared her valuable knowledge and experience with the students and parents gathered.
Smt. Anandiben Patel spoke about the importance of providing education and basic facilities to girls, emphasising that it is crucial for the progressive growth of society. She highlighted the increasing participation of women in the global workforce and expressed her hope to see more women achievers in the future. She also discussed the Garba Samskarana programme, which she introduced in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. This programme emphasises the responsibility of parents to nurture their children from the womb, instilling good values from day one to build a better future. She concluded by addressing the concept of a developed Bharat (Vikasitha Bharat) and the importance of today's generation contributing their best efforts to create a better India as the nation approaches its 100th year of Independence.
Following her speech, Dr. Chenraj Roychand encouraged all the students to take inspiration from our Chief Guest, Smt. Anandiben Patel. He also emphasised how JAIN College students excel in various career paths, achieving success in high-ranking positions across different fields worldwide.
The programme concluded with the students being felicitated for their academic achievements. Susmitha S, Devi Samvardhini, and Swara Sushmi Rao were among the honoured rank holders from the Humanities.
