Introducing College Attire at JAIN College: Fostering Pride and Belonging

At JAIN College, we are thrilled to introduce a new initiative aimed at promoting a positive atmosphere and community spirit. We are excited about the journey ahead and look forward to seeing you flourish both academically and personally.

Purpose

Our college attire serves multiple purposes. Firstly, it promotes unity and equality among all students,and instils professionalism eliminating visual differences that may arise from varying personal styles and fashion choices. It fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where students are valued for their character and contributions rather than their appearance and also minimise distractions, allowing students to focus on their academic pursuits.

Scope

The college attire will apply to all students enrolled at JAIN College, regardless of their programme or specialisation. We believe in creating a consistent and cohesive environment where everyone feels connected and part of a larger whole. Students are expected to comply with this student college attire while travelling to and from school, during school hours, and when attending school activities.

College Attire and Appearance

  • General Guidelines

    While at college, travelling to or from college, or participating in college activities, JAIN College students must comply with the following:

    The attire must always be neat and tidy

    Wear appropriate pants or trousers that suit the T-shirt. Printed, ripped, or torn jeans are to be avoided.

    Black, blue, grey, beige, and brown are pants/trousers colours that match best with the T-shirt.

  • Minimal and non-distracting jewellery is allowed, such as small earrings, a simple necklace, or a bracelet.

    Excessive or flashy jewellery that may hinder the learning environment or pose safety concerns to be avoided

  • Students are encouraged to maintain a neat and natural appearance.

    Minimal makeup, such as a light foundation, subtle eyeshadow, and a touch of lip colour, is acceptable.

    Excessive makeup to be avoided.

  • Wear comfortable sneakers or shoes along with the college attire.

    High heels, flip-flops, and excessively casual footwear are to be avoided
