  1. Chartered Accountant

Chartered Accountants play a host of roles in finance and tax management. They can be tax auditors, planners, GST specialists, and more. They can work in multinational companies, governments, non-government organisations, or private tax consultants. This is a highly specialised field with great earning potential. 

  1. Finance Manager

Finance managers have a special role in all organisations to handle the day-to-day finances. Their responsibilities include payroll management, financial planning, investment management, capital management,  cash flow

 management, financial reporting and risk management among others. 

  1. Company Secretary

They advise the board on legal, statutory and regulatory requirements. They are also involved in the decision-making process for the company’s tax filing.

  1. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

CFA’s work with multinational companies to conduct in-depth research and analysis and guide investment companies in complex financial markets.

  1. Auditor

Auditors examine, analyse and interpret the organisation’s accounts and evaluate and prepare financial statements to advise them on finance management. 

  1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

CPAs advise clients on financial matters, preparing and filing tax documents and creating financial reports.

You can be a travel blogger, run and operate a hotel, Airbnb homestay or a travel agency. After taking professional certification exams like IATA you can become an international tour operator or ticketer. There are many exciting opportunities in the industry that one can consider.

Research analysts have demand across industries in the private and public sectors. The roles can be in areas of operations research, economics, stock market, finance, and market research Management Information Systems (MIS) among others. It entails extensive application of mathematics, statistics and software tools for statistical modelling. 

  1. Actuary

Actuaries have a specialised role in the finance industry to analyse the financial cost of risk and uncertainty using mathematics, statistics and financial theory. They assess the risk of potential events and help businesses and clients develop policies to minimise the cost of that risk. Considering its specialist nature, the actuary profession attracts high salaries and high demand and one can work as an independent consultant or for an insurance company.
